Tips for Waxing
Know before you go…
- Hair to be waxed must be at least a ΒΌ inch long.
- Trim any long hair in bikini area before waxing appointment
- It is recommended that waxing not take place during menstruation due to sensitivity and increased occurrence of bleeding
- Discontinue use of rapid exfoliators such as Renova, alpha hydroxy acids, Retin A, glycolic acid or Obagi system at least 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment. These products sensitize the skin so there may be adverse reactions if the precautions are not heeded. Also refrain from peels & microdermabrasion one month prior to appointment. Please note that use of antibiotics can also make skin more sensitive. When in doubt, talk to one of our licensed Estheticians.
- Skin that is sunburned may not be waxed
